Search got fixed
Update: The search issue has been resolved! While I may still prefer the functionality of the android app, the iPhone one is now usable. Thank you! Original: I just switched from an android phone to an iPhone- props to the android team, Wikipedia was my favorite app on Android. The transition to iPhone was not smooth though- the iPhone app feels slower, and the keyboard does not show up on the search page, so I can’t search.
The internet at its finest
It's Wikipedia, what more do you need to know? The app is designed well and runs great. The only feature I wish it has is a category browser. I wish I could go down a rabbit hole of clicking categories and subcategories and topics rather than having to manually search for pages. The explore page is decent but a bit too random and algorithmic for my taste. Other than that the app is amazing and has replaced Reddit as my go-to quick read any time I have some down time.

Wikipedia, once touted as the last place to go for credible sources, has been instrumental my own knowledge and education. Credible, reliable, and accurate. And this app is no exception! Highly recommend for that “on the fly” education and curiosity.

Impressive First Party App
I was never a fan of the first party Wikipedia app but Wikipedia has really stepped it up. The best feature that keeps me using it is the customization option for home screen or Explore tab as they call it. For my taste, I only have On this Day and Because you read options selected. Otherwise the default would be a cluttered & annoying mess.
