Update: Palfish recently cut pay without much warning, turned off Western teachers’ ability to send messages to teachers and students for a two week maintenance that has lasted wayyy longer, messaged me that they were removing me from the kids’ course the day before class, and now, won’t respond to my inquiries for getting my pay. I thought customer service was bad before, it’s nonexistent now. Admins aren’t responding. Even when I tried to be added back to the kids course so I could at least make enough for payout—no response. I’ve taught with Palfish for just shy of 4 years. This company used to be pretty good as far as pay and the overall teaching experience (minus customer service), but over the last year and recent weeks, it has gone completely downhill. I DO NOT recommend this company. I really like being able to make a living from my living room. There are so many ways to make money with this app. I actually quit my hospital job because I make more with PalFish, working less hours per day. My issue with PalFish is the customer service: Good luck getting a response unless you bombard them with messages until someone finally decides to answer. And if you happen to get a response, be prepared to either be ignored after the initial conversation or get no real solution to your issue. ....If you can overlook the subpar customer service, you may find that the pay, freedom and great relationships with students and their parents outweighs the negatives. Overall I’m pretty satisfied with PalFish.

They do not care AT ALL about their teachers. They just want to make money. Unnecessary fines, ridiculous complaints and they LIE to teachers AND PARENTS. I worked her for almost two years and they cut our pay by 40% and didn’t even tell us until a week before they did it. They took away our messaging so we cannot message students at all and it’s been 2 weeks. Clearly they are trying to silence us but that will not work. We will find a way. Please do not waste time and effort for this company. They do not care about you.

No warning at all, didn’t even finish pay for the month. Run FAR from this company. They have many unethical practices. This is coming from someone who used to make close to $5000 a MONTH on palfish.

They have cut teachers pay 40% without warning. Do not work for Palfish.

The admins don’t appreciate teachers at all. In fact they don’t even care if you succeed or not, if you’re ill one day or not. They don’t understand that without teachers, this app wouldn’t exist. They’re rude and ignore you when you have a question or need help. They can remove you from the course for no reason any time they want with no explanation. I have never been disrespected like this in my life. Stay away!! I was hired by BLINGABC and it’s been great! They even pay much more. Bye ungrateful PalFish!

This is a very great opportunity to make a living whilst making a difference!

Difficult to navigate, hard to use, overall awful just go to Cambly or Magic Ears, it’s easier to use and less frustrating and annoying don’t waste your time or get your hopes up with this app.
