TRY Net News wire! Less about $$$$
"NetNewsWire is all about three things" The open web High-quality open source Mac and iOS apps The community that loves both of the above Supporting all these things takes work. --------------------------------------------------- So, you have to pay $15 to use this and the iPhone app. Nice app but is it worth the money? Isn't it just a hyperlink? Even News 360 and Net News Wire does the same thing and both are free? For this price, $9.99 I would have expected them to include the iPhone app but no???? I can afford it but can't stand greed. I would feel better giving my money to Net News Wire for the kind gesture. I will be asking for a refund! I would recommend trying NET NEWS WIRE or searching elsewhere. It's free and just as good!!

Fast, reliable, and the only one with good support of RTL languages.
Love it, but...
Lacks taging and/or allowing to use a feed more than once (to use it in different folders in the absence of taging). You also can't create smart filters or folders. The layout is a bit inconsistnet also: timeline has the titles under the thumbnail and the feed has it on top. It is all or nothing with this one.
Disappointing
I was hoping to move away from Feedly and thought News Explorer looked like the best option for a dedicated newsreader. It does have a lot of configuration options, but unfortunately doesn't have enough to allow me to configure it the way I want to. The choices for font sizing in the summary view in the left window are small and slightly bigger -- that's it. The biggest frustation was that it insists that you have a 3 panel view. No way to turn the right side panel off and just see the left and middle panels -- no way to turn the right panel off.
Bad experience
Ever since updating to the latest Apple OS on my computer the other day, this app is no longer loading the text of articles - it just shows a blank screen. Also, as I previously wrote in an email to the developers (receiving no response), I intentionally bought this app from my computer (via App Store) in order to get news syncing across all my devices, but when I went to download it on my phone, it's saying I have to pay again to download it. This should not be the case since I already paid! I would appreciate an update to the app to fix the new issues and resolution of my other issue ASAP. If these problems are addressed, I'll be happy to adjust my rating, but for now - one star.

Only installed 5 minutes and already it made me smile. This guy gets it. Forget Feedly, Apple News and the rest, this is what you need.
Best RSS Reader
I've tried every Mac OS reader that there is and News Explorer is easily the best. It works flawlwssly on my iMac and it has more features than any of the other apps. Highly recommended!
