I tried to use this app to connect my phone to a controller but the app could not find the controller

Not as advertised
Buttons app does not work. Terminal does work, but I need button pad. HM - 10 module disconnects whenever I attempt to enter button app. Wasted much time. Developer does not respond. Can not get refund from Apple. Wasted money. Using newest Arduino and iOS 12. Have found ArduinoBlue App which has many more features. Requires a library to be added (and learned) and is FREE.

Indeed, it works so well, my problem was solved in less than a minute. (Crashed) For that, the extra star.
Disconnects
Paid for the controller add-on. Loses connection to my hm10 module when I click the controller! Waste of money so far
Display bugs on device info screen after scrolling down ...
Device info disappears after scrolling and clicking an (empty) info field force-closes the app. Other than that I'm hopeful this will do what I need and more when it's fixed and I buy the add-ons I need. :) (2-star to bring attention to issues, 4~5 star overall!)
Controller mode doesn’t work
I just bought the controller mode for $3. Do NOT purchase this, it is a waste of money. The transceiver immediately disconnects when controller mode is turned on, rendering this function entirely worthless.
