Quick access to the world
Modern Atlas is very useful in locating countries and cities of the world. You can shift the map with your finger and “stretch the map to drill down. Or; you can use the search feature if not sure about a general location. One suggestion though; geographic features are a little harder to locate. The 3D feature helps but labeling could be improved. Otherwise this app is a wonderful tool to have in your phone, especially when reading the news and not sure where a topic location is.

I don’t know of any other app with the wealth and depth of map and location information that this app has. You will guilty you paid so little for it.

OMG I got jipped of $0.99!!!! Horrible horrible horrible app. I’m kicking myself in the head for not trusting the recent negative reviews. NO CONTENT!!!! Do NOT download!
Excellent World Atlas
Been looking for a great atlas app with world maps and a search feature since the disappearance of the National Geographic Atlas. Tried quite a few, and this is by far the best! Great job! I found it really interesting that the App Store is flooded with geography quiz apps. They’re almost a dime a dozen now.
Disappointed
Purchased this app for my backpacking trip in Europe, and based on the reviews I had high expectations. Sadly, the app never seems to work right and is constantly loading and will eventually error out saying it can't connect to the server, both on WiFi and cellular data. Don't waste your $0.99, instead just download Wikivoyage offline pages.

Can’t scroll down on any of the information pages. Makes this app worthless. Developers won’t fix.
Wonderfully Informative
This app has quickly moved onto my primary home screen. One of the most informative apps for leaning about the city you live in; but equally as useful for traveling, or just scoping out potential travel destinations. It fully embodies its name as a modern atlas, giving you the ability to save “maps” for different locations, save favorite points of interest, and delve into rich history. Even if you aren’t a traveler and perhaps want an alternative, more direct visual experience for learning about locations - you will find joy in this app! Can’t recommend it enough for citizens of Earth.
