Pronunciation not always accurate - still worth it
The pronunciation on this is not quite accurate. The letter ‘r’ in IPA is wrongly written as [r], but he French ‘r’ is not pronounced as [r] nor as in Spanish nor as [ɹ] as in English, it should be [ʁ], which is a little like a throat gargle. Keep that in mind. Sometimes the [ɑ] is wrongly pronounced [a] in the words. There are other issues. I recommend getting the Interactive IPA app to sort these thing out. If you’re just trying to learn French, this is a good start, but if you want very precise pronunciation, get an IPA app to go along with this and also look up Foreign Service French Phonology, which teaches very precise pronunciation.I still think it’s worth buying.
Not working
It seems to be a cool app, but it is not working on mi iPhone XS. When I tap the arrow on the left upper corner to go back, it doesn’t work.
Major issue on iPhone X
There is a major issue with IPhone X. Once you click on a letter you can’t get back to the list because the back button is behind the iOS clock. You have to completely close the app and reopen it to go to a different letter.
Love the linguistic approach
