Continuously Errors
Every other thing I try to do .. gets an error. What a terrible app. Topps is awful.. no wonder MLB didn’t renew with them. NHL is next based on this trash.
Worked once...kinda
Well for starters, I tried signing up with Facebook out of the options given but it wouldn’t work. Then all seemed fine when I just continued as a guest. The app worked when I was using it the first time I was ripping packs, collecting cards, crafting better cards, even though it was super confusing what the point was and the sets(like the red, green, white, among others). Eventually I just signed up with apple to keep the collections and whatnot. Unfortunately I’m going to have to delete it from my phone since I can never get past the loading screen anymore. It gets to 40% and then gives me an error message. Not a terrible app idea especially with the card collecting interest surge since the pandemic. Needs some work to make the collections/sets more laid out and clearer. I was confused if when I crafted the card I’d lose it from the collection and overall kind of confusing so I guess me not being able to log in is a blessing in disguise since I won’t be more confused by this app and the sets/collections.
Odds…
Make that 21 packs opened with 1:5 odds that resulted in 1 card….odds say four, Topps says 1, but you can pay some money….straight up gip joint.
Okay but….
The app is great but……. I feel topps neglects innocent users by wrongfully banned/suspended them for sticking up for other users that are wrongfully accused of doing something. I had this happen just earlier today I was defending someone in the trade chat and I got reported for bullying!!!! I contacted customer support which basically told me to go f myself by giving me articles about what to do if I can’t trade. The trade chat has been a war zone half the time and the people who casue a little fight are treated like kings! And the other users are kicked to the curb and it shows which is very sad. And the funny thing is the people who Casue arguments weirdly can’t be reported.
Sad.
After a few years of playing this, this product is definitely pay to win. You use to be able to grind and get good cards off of coins, but now you almost certainly have to spend money on diamonds. I’ve opened over 400 packs the past two months and hit a staggering 3 super rares. I’m done. Completing base sets is only fun for so long. Take your money and buy real hockey cards kids.
Cool hockey card app but…
A fun trading card app but when compared to topps bunt (baseball cards) it leaves a bit to be desired. I appreciate that the bunt app seems to always be offering more/better deals on diamonds and there’s always more gift coins in the bunt app. The events in the bunt app are really fun and I think I can only remember of one event in this app as opposed to the 8 or so in the bunt app since I’ve been playing.
