Trash...steaming hot trash/ CS? Forget it.
My VPN went down two weeks ago. I wound up buying a new service because trying to get ahold of these ding-dongs is impossible. I paid-in-full for a year. They let me loging and acknowledge I have purchaed the VPN. When I attempt to follow a link to CS, they deny I have an account. They also won't let you use the same account if you switch users on the same computer. I cancelled their renewal, which isn't until October, and they didn't even reach out in an email to ask if they could keep my business. that's business 101. absolute steaming hot trash. awful. awful awful company. j*sus, you what good CSR does? sellls. let people call you. bunch of ding-dongs. I wish "zero stars" was an option.
This Soes not work on BIG SUR
Why wont they fix thix this ? Its been months ! I have paid for avira vpn . It does not work on BIG SUR!
Great Product/Platform
I am a tech guy and when I purchase something new I look for ease of use and how intuitive it would be for someone not techy. It gives you enough option but not too much. I recommend !
Does NOT work with Catalina
Tried all locations three times each. Customer support e-mail responses have been cookie cutter so far, and phone support has been busy for the last 57 min. I've had a lifetime unlimited subscription through Mariner since March 2018. I've had four problem free months since then and November, 2019. They finally answered and have no immediate solution, "It is in the hands of our developement department. We will e-mail you when it is resolved."
Does NOT work
Tried on Mac and iOS. Could never get to connect. Paid for the subscription on iOS, registered the email address, verified email, the whole works. Always received "The VPN server did not respond" error on both platforms. Tried multiple locations but received the same result. Canceled subscription on Apple Store (hope they don't charge my credit card, or I will be mad) finally.
Same problem
I have a similar problem as Airpiratehkg. I bought the subscription via App Store but when I want to login, my account is locked. The subscription is neither acitve nor I can activate it within Avira connect as I didn't get a respective license no. It's really not o.k. as due to this I cannot contact support. I hope Avira will answer me on the e-mail I found but what isn't meant for support. If not, I think I have to watch out for different vendors.
Fraud / Cannot use subscrition from Apple App Store
I subscribed to Avira Pro via the Apple App store and while it works on my Macbook Air it does not work on my iphoneX (shows trial mode). When I log into my Apple account I have a valid subscription but when I log into the Avira site it says I do not have a subscription. Apple will not help or process a refund stating it's a 3rd party App. I cannot reach anyone at Avira because I am not a "premium" subscriber. Apple claims they are better and more secure than Google because they vet the apps in this case it seems thats BS.
