Sound Weaver is an instrument which allows you to chop audio recordings into 8 different slices. Each slice can be played as one shot or looped sound by assigned colored pad, or chromatically with the on screen keyboard. Every slice has it own independent FX chain: - Distortion, - Filter, - Delay, and can be sent to global Reverb effect. Make recordings via Microphone or import any audio file from your device or export slices to wav files. Sound Weaver can also generate random audio combinations based on your saved recordings. Slices can be played with a sequencer which has 16 slots to store patterns and slices settings. Sound Weaver has an opportunity to generate slices and sequencer patterns randomly. The application has 10 free demo projects with prerecorded sounds. Connect your MIDI device to control everything in the app.

This app is almost there. I slept on it and on a whim decided to download it. Wow. Can’t be much more intuitive than this. This is such a great, simple, to the point app that if made into an Auv3 would be unbelievably useful. Developer. Dude make this thing what it needs to be and I say that with a huge amount of respect. This is a fantastic app that’s just on the cusp. 10 stars once it’s updated.

Great generative music experience
Great app! It’s fun to generate sounds, play with patterns and dive into composing mind blowing loops and even tracks you have no chance to create in other apps. It seems that app inherits lots of great ideas and findings from another app of this developer Zillidrone (I often use it for several years now as a drum machine and melodic pattern generator).

Soooooo close
Wow, nice app, but it could be epic. The first two things missing, and to be honest I don’t know how any developer making music apps could not include it in their app, 1. Core midi, I want to be able to play it with my midi keyboard controller, not just the onscreen keyboard and 2. Auv3 support. It’s like you’re literally sabotaging your own efforts and pretty much are guaranteeing your app is obsolete from day 1 and will be disregarded by a lot of IPad users, yeah, I know it’s free, but people will pay for it if it had core midi and was an audio unit. The third thing that would put it over the top would be time stretching. And if you really want to make it a must must have is 8 more pads. This reminds me of serato sampler and has so much potential, again...it could really be great. Edit: so while I’m glad to see this is being developed, I don’t understand why the focus is not making it compatible with other app, like adding Audiobus, IAA ( not so much IAA since Apple is deeming it obsolete) but more important AU3 compatible? I’m not really interested in buying the full version knowing I can’t use it in any of my productions. I suggest the developer spend time on the Audiobus forum and find out from users what would make this app relevant, but at the moment it really isn’t to be honest, or at least not to me. It’s close to being something that’s needed but I don’t think the developer is in tune with what users want or need.
