So many books available. I’ve had 2 orders not delivered (probably an issue with the postal service) and ThriftBooks has been so QUICK about sending a replacement or refunding if the book I wanted wasn’t available anymore. Very satisfied

I LOVE thriftbooks for their incredible prices and large selection. Their customer service is great, every time I’ve had an issue they have resolved it quickly and satisfactorily! The only reason for 4 stars is their quality control is SO unpredictable. I’ve ordered a book in “acceptable” condition (the worst condition out of their options) and the book arrived in brand new, untouched condition. On the other hand, I’ve ordered a book in “like new” condition (their top quality option) and received a 30 year old edition that was falling apart and covered in stains. This unfortunately happens often here. A lot of library books slip through the cracks too (there is an indicator on the website that tells you if you’re purchasing a used library book). Multiple times I have ordered a book not specified to be library, and I receive a library book. I’ve also twice received “unedited proof” copies of books. Like I said at the beginning, their customer service is incredible and has always sent me replacements or refunds if replacements are not available. I will never stop ordering from thriftbooks, but the unpredictable condition of books is very frustrating.

i absolutely love thriftbooks. i’ve always gotten good books, especially for what i paid for them. most used books are 4-5 dollars, and still in pretty decent condition. i get almost all of my books here, its so much cheaper than buying brand new books that ill only read a few times. i totally recommend getting your books from here.

My first order all three books arrived at the same time ! There was an error ,one book was incorrect not what I ordered but I was able to call and spoke to a human . Can you believe it ? Customer service was excellent . So far so good! ThriftBooks will get more of my business

I ordered two books. I can see that it went through my bank account and they said I didn’t make any orders, that they can’t find it. I can prove that I purchased it and still nothing. This app is a rip off

I LOVE thrift books, I have placed countless orders. Great prices and a huge variety of books. Generally pretty quick shipping, my only complaint is the app. By far, without question the SLOWEST app I have ever used!

It was a random thought to search used books online and one day I just started the hunt. Comparing prices and trying to find great deals is what I like to call “doing my part”. I have always enjoyed secondhand items from my local shops and yard sales, but had never stepped into the secondhand cyber shop. Many emotions ran through my mind. Give me a book, coffee and my soft blanket and I’m good to go! Today was the day! My books arrived! I be-lined it to my mailbox and back inside my house to quickly open and inspect my new found books. Spines are good ✅ Pages intact ✅ No scribbles ✅ Hardly any wear at all! I’m super excited to say this was an amazing experience! Plus, I got all Three books which are a retail value of $30.97 for less than $13.00 total! That’s a savings of more than 50%.
