Great idea, but not being executed well
Like the title says, this app is a great idea, but I haven’t been able to view any news articles on this app. Home says, “There are currently no news stories available in this section” and to refresh. I’ll go ahead and refresh it, but it does nothing. Video and Blindspot are just completely blank, I can’t view any of my followings, and the map is just a map without articles or anything. This was happening on and off for about 1 week in late September but since then, I haven’t been able to view anything. I even paid for premium (when I first got it) and now I can’t view anything.
Agree with all other reviews: allowed ad blockers
I agree with most reviews, the premise and execution of this app is great. Allows me to read articles from different sources and understand other perspectives but only when I’m able to read the articles! Allow for the system browser to run its content blocker. I’m really trying to read an article but there are just WAY WAY to many ads.
Great Idea with tons of pop-up ads
The pop ups will take the entire screen at times and they can’t always be closed. I have the paid version.
Not another one...
I liked this app until the recent push for election. I’m neither a republican nor democrat so don’t think I am leaning one way or another but when you have literal political ads for either side and they are labeled as “center” you’ve sold out. Obviously the political ads will be bias towards whatever candidate is approving them. I’ve noticed increasingly that the “left, right, center” labels have been skewed. I don’t know who you have making those decisions but they need to be checked!

Best App for really knowing the News
I have been using this app for a few months now and I really love it! More than any other news source or aggregator, this one provides so many features to compare and understand how the news is reported differently by region, political leanings, or even just how the story changes over time. It features blindspot reports, alerts, links to sources. I love flipping through the headlines to see the subtle word choices as you move from left to right or US based to world based news. I have over 75 news sources linked in my browser, fact checkers, sites on media rankings, and yet I feel I have learned more just being able to see the stories play out in real-time.
Bias is everywhere
This app is amazing for showing bias with different new sources left/center/right. I also appreciate that is shows blindspots on topics that some platforms may not be covering. A great app that’s organized so you can find out all the information and then form your own opinion on the topic.
