Barely ok
I agree the method for tile placement is terrible, worse then the old Ingenious app. I place a tile then rotate and the part I don’t want rotating moves lol. So annoying
I really liked the old version of this app
It was my favorite game, but it’s no longer available. I find the controls on this very touchy and only having the option to play it with phone sideways is annoying. Not fun. I hope this will get another redesign.
Love the game - hate the App
AXIO is truly an ingenious (pun intended) game that I love to play both as a board game and electronically. I only wish somebody would spend just a little time and effort to make the app enjoyable and bug free. The game still crashes although not as often as before but the controls are just miserable. Also, I’d love to play someone online but I guess the game is just not popular enough for there to ever be anyone to play against. So I keep playing against the computer “William” which is supposed to be the most difficult opponent. I manage to beat William about 65% of the time so I do enjoy that he presents at least somewhat of a challenge. It’s just that most of the time I lose, it’s because the computer clearly starts cheating, not giving me the colors I need. It’s beyond frustrating to change out all pieces three times in a row and still not get a single piece of the color needed. Statistically very unlikely to happen in real life but when William needs a win, that happens often. I also like to go for the various Achievements you can earn but have noticed that you can’t get credit for maxing out more than 4 colors. I maxed out 5 colors twice so far against William but it did not update the Achievement, still only shows 4. So please, somebody relaunch this game app one more time and make it work properly. This game could be wildly popular with the right marketing and gaming experience.
I want my money back!!
This is absolutely the worst app ever and I want my money back since it stopped working completely. I’m a big fan of the Ingenious (Einfach Genial) board game and also had the Ingenious game app before it was taken down a couple of years ago. I was super excited to see the game back in the app store, renamed as AXIO but clearly the same game nonetheless. So I gladly spent the $3.00 on it. Well, the execution of the game is the worst I have ever seen and wirse in every way compared to the old Ingenious app. The game board itself is now tiny and the controls are terrible. To make matters worse, I signed up to get an account so I can play online. After a tedious process of establishing my user name and password, the game now crashes every time I try to play, even offline.
This is Ingenious, not Axio
This app is misleading. I was looking to play Axio (square tiles and pyramids) not Ingenious (hex tiles).
