Let down!
I played the original rover raft and couldn’t get enough!! Rover craft 2 truly let me down, the batteries and parts in the game are limited, and the new cargo that it gives you every episode just wasn’t the great idea. I liked the amount of creativity I could use in the original, as well as the new wheels and battery options it gave. Being able to replay levels was a great feature as well. Seeing that there was a sequel had my heart beating fast in excitement, but I was let down when I played.

Great game, but something's missing...
I am a big fan of this series and so far these games have been pretty good. The only thing that would make this review 5 stars is a sandbox mode where all parts are unlimited and unlocked, so you can just mess around with all of the parts and drive your Rover, without needing to get the parts in campaign mode first. You could also maybe make it so you can edit the properties of specific parts. (Eg: thruster: power, battery consumption, etc; Gyro: power, sensitivity, etc) Or you could just make it so the player can just upgrade/downgrade parts for free. Either way, I'd still like some sort of sandbox mode please! T͎h͎a͎n͎k͎s͎!

Sequel Misses the Mark
I loved the first game. The second misses the mark on a few points 1. Cannot replay campaign missions. These are the most challenging and fun but we can’t replay them? Really decreases replay value. 2. Very limited drops of better parts. This is made worse by the fact you can’t replay campaign missions once beaten. Takes away the fun of creativity. I assume this is a paywall created by the developer to bring in more $$. I’d pay for a paid version of the game to avoid this and the ads.
