I have been waiting. I have been begging. At last, apple has brought TextEdit to the iOS world. 99% of the time that's all I need in a text editor.

It is impossible to do anything with this app without purchasing a $.99 weekly subscription. That would be $51.48 yearly or $4.29/month.

Allows me to create a file but not open it
This is a scam app. I created a file. Now the app won’t let me access it without subscribing for a monthly fee. I’m sure this was not mentioned before, but most important, they now have data in my files that they won’t let me delete. This is a breach of trust.
