Manual upload of test results is a joke. Three times I’m uploading the form and getting the note that the information entered is not matching the form. I’m sure it does, besides what is the reason to have selectors saying the time of test is on the form and the Clinique name is on the form if you forcing the user to enter them anyway?? Deleting the app now and will not use it again

Just got an email from BA telling me to download this app. I have a trip with BA from Italy Tuesday (today is Saturday). Tried many times to get the app to accept my COVID certificate qr code. I keep getting the message below which means stress levels go up in an already stressful time for travel. Conclusion so far is that this app is useless. Sorry An unexpected error occurred. Please see the log files.

This app is completely pointless. Every airport I’ve been to you still have to wait in line to show your documents regardless of wasting time entering your info on this app. Half the time it doesn’t have the correct flight info to choose from and causes more problems than efficiency. Truly a huge waste of time.

I guess this is AA’s app. So I just found out about it today and I fly tomorrow! I see where they say you need to plan way in advance, 14 days, although I only got the email from AA 6 days in advance. So hopefully, I won’t have a horrible time checking in with my paper docs. It’s crazy it should take that long. They have all my info other than vaccine info and PCR test which should take no time to upload. I should have read their email better, but was super busy at work. I guess/hope coming home will be easier. Will update my rating after using the app further.

Very quirky, used a few times and had small issues each time. Once it does work it does fine.

I’m not sure what good this app is other than harvesting personal and HIPPA private information. I spent literally hours filled out dozens of screens full of questions, uploading Passport photos, Covid-19 test results etc for no apparent reason other than to jump through hoops so American Airlines would let me check in for my flight When I got to the airport I flashed my code to check in and they looked at me like I was crazy. Fortunately after working for 45 years in IT I’ve learned never to trust software and computers so I had printed everything out. It literally took 45 minutes to check in 4 people. Same thing in Miami when we changed planes. I was hopeful that maybe VeriFLY would help on our destination, but no joy. Once again we had to haul out our stack of paperwork again in Barbados. Took us 2 hours to clear Covid-19 protocols, claim our luggage and get a cab to our hotel. Guess what. Same thing on the way back. I’m really not surprised, I guess that American Airlines managed to team up with a company as incompetent as they are. What a horrible application obviously coded by geeks with no human factors oversight and professional guidance. One example: there is a place to scan a QR code to upload your Covid-19 test results. Of course none of ours were recognized, and the message returned was not neither helpful or meaningful. Had to take a picture of the paper documents and wait hours to complete checkin while they were manually verified.

This may be one of the worst apps I’ve ever used. Not at all intuitive and instructions for use are poor or nonexistent. Uploading or taking a picture proved extremely difficult and frustrating. I kept getting the error message that my face was not clear, despite the fact that the pic was extremely clear and showed my entire head and face. In the end, I persevered and got the international flight approval needed, but not before significant elevated blood pressure and F bombs! Hopefully improvements are coming.
