Be upfront with your pricing…
To the developer: be upfront with your pricing! Upon opening the app the user is immediately met with an option to sign in or create an account which costs money. Once subscribed you then offer IAP’s according to users who have paid for the subscription. At the very least offer a free trial. I instantly deleted the app as have many others that frequent the iOS music forums. Oh well…
No mention of external payment or subscription in description.
App didn't have a price, so I read through the description and looked for IAP pricing... nothing. So i gave it a shot. Open the app to find a login/signup page. Looked at the signup, they want $3.99/month for an audio plugin. No idea if this is a scam, but certainly feels like it. Transparency goes a long way... this developer really needs to be clear in the description how their external pricing model works.
