App must have updated...not fun anymore
I have had this app and I just got it a few days ago for my 91 year old Mom. I told her it was quite fun and she would enjoy it. How wrong I was! This version is not fun at all. She was farkling all the time when rolling with 4 dice. It is rare now to beat the computer...also I don't see an option for an easy game vs. a hard game. I am going to look for a more fun version or app. Yo know people DO like to win sometimes!
Farkle
I love to play Farkle, but this version is no fun. The computer will cause you to farkle consistently on the opening rolls, and it causes farkles too many times during the game, which is just not fun. I'm glad I didn't buy it.
Good game, bad app
I love Farkle, but not this app. Once you have established a winning streak, the RNG becomes skewed towards the computer. To correct others: The difficulty level actually effects the situations in which the computer will risk a roll. The game does "cheat" nonetheless.
Don't think the dice generation is random
The computer obviously cheats. There should not be an option of level of difficulty for a game that is supposed to be COMPLETELY random. If the dice were random the app would be a four star. The way it is now makes it a waste of time.
Loaded dice only in free version
so... in the free version, you get to play against the computer in two modes: easy and hard. Instead of playing against an opponant rolling actual dice, you get to play against an opponent who will consistently win or lose, depending on your choice. There are terms which more precisely express my displeasure with an app-upsell this dumb, but such terms are likely prohibited by jthe app store. Getting this scuzzy on potential customers is a sure-fire way to lose a sale, as you have most certainly done here. Bravo sirs, in a sales strategy so inept (and I've downloaded a lot of apps) that I took nearly five minutes to type out this review.
