Nice, but room for improvement
Ergonomics suggests that placing the digits 1-9 off to the R or L side is easier on the wrist than moving the hand clear down south to select a digit. One might also simply click anywhere on the board twice rapidly to enable the pencil mode with a noticeable color change or hue change to signal the user that they are still in the pencil mode and then let the user click on a larger pencil symbol once to exit that mode. Otherwise, I like it a lot.

Not as good as versions for iPhone and iPad
On the iPhone and iPad app, the hint provides some explanation for the hint. This explanation helps me learn the advanced techniques of the game. Another item where it differs from its sister apps is that you are docked 1000 points for filling in the grid. Filling in the other numbers in the grid is a tedious and time consuming exercise that anyone can do. Otherwise, great app. I love playing it on all of my devices.
Wonderful app for iOS and iMac platforms
Really easy to use and challenging. Adictive too! The only improvement that i would offer is to have note areas for each column and row to keep from cluttering the puzzle grid with too much information that can hide number placements.
Screen Preferences
I love this game but am annoyed by the fact that I have to resize and reposition the screen on my desktop every time I reopen it. And now the screen only resizes proportionately.
Best Sudoku
I love this version of Sudoku -- it's so clear, intuitive to use, and robust. I was really sad to think that I'd have to give it up with the next release of OS, since the old version was only 32-bit. But now -- a 64 bit version! Yipee!
Challenging
I like this version of Sudoku because the “Medium” version is consistently challenging yet solvable … I have little interest in racing the clock, I prefer enjoying the challenge of seeking the next solution which can be challenging to find enabling me to use different techniques to uncover it.
