Best dramatized version of the Bible I ever heard
I can’t say how much I adore this app, especially since it works on my iPhone, iPad, and Apple TV so I can listen and read along just about anywhere. The NKJV has is my favorite translation of the Bible so the fact that Word of Promise uses the NKJV text is like a personal blessing to me. I can listen to it in my car with my phone, on my couch with Apple TV, or while lying down in my bed with my iPad. I can’t say enough how incredible this is. I loved the Word of Promise audio Bible ever since I bought the 70-something CD set nearly a decade ago. The quality of the dramatization rivals a Hollywood production - it’s that good. Lastly - and what really rounds out the package - is just how high quality the app is as well. It’s not like most Bible apps that play the audio and you have to manually follow along, select the right book, chapter, and verse that corresponds with what you’re listening too. It’s synced up all by itself and highlights the exact verse being read. How cool is that? If that wasn’t enough you can jump ahead to any verse just by clicking on it whereas other audio Bibles are just divided up into tracks and you have to fast forward or rewind and hopefully land on where you want. Not so here. Everything is integrated and instant. So long story short with this app you get the best Bible translation in my opinion, the best dramatized reading of the Bible ever, and the best and most user-friendly layout for a Bible app I have ever seen (and I have downloaded countless dozens of them). Worth every cent if you ask me.
Great gift for anyone - especially those in isolation
Amazing! We’ve been using this app for six years. Our son was diagnosed with autism and this is a great way to get the word of God into his heart and mind. Plus, as he has sensory issues with food, we use it at meal time to get his focus shifted off the texture of his food. We all love it and the price is SO cheap - can’t imagine what production costs would have run. Great gift for anyone - especially those in isolation. Thank you!
Beautiful and high production value
The sound effects, orchestra, paid actors / voice overs make this one of the absolute best spoken word "audiobook" products ever produced. The actor who played Jesus in passion of the Christ is the same for Jesus in this interactive audiobook as well. Very well done.

I enjoy this Bible App 100%!! Please, Update & Correct Mark 5:7-8. Out of order. Starts with v.7, doesn’t finish, goes to v.8, then finishes v.7. Please, Update & Correct Mark 8:38. It has v.1 of Mark 9:1 added at the end of v.38 of Mark 8:38. Update: 4JUL2020 Please, Update & Correct 1 Corinthians 11:1. Vs.1 plays at the end of 1 Corinthians 10:33. Thanks in advance. God Bless!
I love the sound effects
The sounds effects, music and voice over brings the Bible to life! what would have taken me perhaps a lifetime to do from beginning to end, I can now say I’ve listened to the Bible from beginning to end more than 3 times and still ongoing!
