    Frustrated

Just purchased for one of my students. It is VERY limited. Plus, I cannot find any “button” that will allow me to use my own photos and recorded voice! Where is this feature hidden?

    Please put the pictures back

I bought this app a couple of years ago for my grandson who has DS. He loves it as do my other grandchildren. What I don't like about it now, is that the update changed the pictures to cartoon-like pictures where they used to be pictures of real life-looking objects and activities. The kids don't seem to like it as much since the update as they did before. I would say it is a matter of them outgrowing it, but they loved playing it on both my phone and iPad. I updated the game on my phone, and they only play it on the iPad now. Now I accidentally updated it on the iPad, and I feel like I wasted $12.00 because they aren't interested in it anymore.

    Customize for iPhone users

My child with Down syndrome learned to read a few dozen sight words at 2 years old through a basic flash card app. I bought this app by recommendation of our developmental pediatrician to help his speech clarity, expand his vocabulary, and add more sight words. I like that I can add words and custom pictures. But we almost always are trying to use it on my iPhone and the words and boxes are just too small! Please add a customization to change the box size, or at least an option to rotate the screen and increase the fonts to readable size on our smaller-than-iPad devices. It's what we have with us all the time so we will get more practice of we can see them better. Thanks for making such a great app for visual readers!

    Good word builder

My son also uses the curriculum alongside this app. It is a good way to learn new words, we also pair them with sign. I like the additional add-ons we just downloaded & find the content to be very enticing and keeps my son's attention very well.

Perfect companion to Down syndrome reading programs

If you are using the DSEI/Sue Buckley/TEaching Children With Down Syndrome to read approach to teaching your child to read, this app is EXACTLY like the program. It's simple but well done. Total flash card approach, no flash, but the pictures and word cards are crisp and clear. I'm not willing to pay for many apps, but this one was worth it.

    Ds mom loves!!

I have an 8 year old son with Down Syndrome. We love this app!!! I especially love that it works on the working memory as well as the option to add your own photos and sounds. I record my voice saying the word and then my son repeats me. It works on articulation and he loves hearing his own voice! Keep up the good work!
