Indoor skatepark
I try to purchase the indoor skatepark and oceanside vertramp but I can't for whatever reason. Fix this! It's good otherwise.
not a good game
Don't buy this, it's a waste of money. The graphics are terrible, when you do 360 or 180 you turn really slow, when you ollie just on flat ground you go like 10 feet into the air, it's just not a realistic game. Don't waste your money. You can buy Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 2 for mac for like $2 more, and that game is way more reallistic, the graphics are better, and you don't ollie 10 feet in the air.

I'm sorry, but this game is bad. After playing it once you can see why it's $1.99. I have over 40 apps purchased and this is the first time I felt the need to write a review because it's so bad. Its like a child designed it. Basicaly its much worse than THPS 1. Who makes a game that you can't steer forward, only angles. Its very basic and maybe decent for very young children who have never played a skateboarding game before or even seen skateboarding. Obviousvly not designed by skaters. Mike V. must have needed the money.
Controls not working at all!
Ratrod Studio makes great games, and their support team is always quick to respond. That said, they need to give this game some loving. I haven't tried my wired keyboard yet, but so far, I have tried the Apple BT keyboard, and 2 other gamepads, none of them have worked correctly. Even using ControllerMate, I've had no luck! Cannot turn left, period, cannot move forward without doing an ollie first. Tricks are no problem, been doing tricks while not even moving. It's a great game, but I'd wait for an update before getting this. EDIT: Finally tried my wired keyboard, and it works! They still need to do some work on this though.
Good game, gets boring.
I love the game but it gets boring. They need to add new tricks or goals. It's worth the money, though! Highly recommended.
Awesome game, controls are hard to get used to
This game is pretty sick, just like the one on the ipod, just not as laggy. Sometimes the graphics glitch out but thats just a minor bug that should be fixed in the next update. My main concern is that the controls are a little tricky and take some time to get used to, but other than that, this game is fun and I'd really recommend it to a friend. After all, it's the only skateboarding game on the app store right now, so why not give it a shot?
