Paid app with (non-PDF version) adverts!
It’s disappointing to see the distracting adverts on every screen in the paid app. Would appreciate if these can be removed to keep the app focused on verified news.

Still bad, after all these years
Crashes less often now, maybe one in five uses. More ads than the stars in the sky. The paranoid management ensures that restrictions are so onerous that it isn’t allowed in the newsstand which would really aid in updating and push notifications. Added one additional star (for a total of two stars now) since the app crashes less often now. Definitely nowhere near world-class though.

Crashes all the time. Requires high bandwidth and downloads don’t work.
Using 2.4GB and of storage!
That's even after I have deleted every issue on the device.
Very unstable app
App crashes often, making bad reading experience. Unable to read in airplane mode after downloading while online earlier. Disappointing.
Allow us to choose when to update
This version does not give us a choice of when to update the app . It is either update or not being to be able to open the app . This is totally inconvenient as we could be overseas on limited wifi or on the move with mobile data. There should be a choice for us to update at our convenience !
