Waste of Money!
Only comes w/ a few news sources, and you CANNOT add custom sources! Waste!
An update, in the knick of time!
There is not another app I use consistently everyday, but this one. I was incresingly concerned as my iPhone alerted me that the app would no longer work with future iOS versions, and it had not been updated prior for a very long time. Then, voila! An update! It works great and even fixed an issue where sources were cutting off before they were finished. This is a great, simple, and useful app.
Continual "File Error 7 - Unable to configure network read stream"
Continual "File Error 7 - Unable to configure network read stream" I am suddenly unable to use Hourly News...whenever I click on the menubar, I get a error message: File Error 7 - Unable to configure network stream. This continues through restarting my iMac. (Mac OS Sierra v. 10.12.4) Retina 5K 27 inch iMac) I get this error no matter what I do, whether I try to listen to a station or even change the Preferences. Help! Miss using the program! And yes, I've tried to submit this multiple times at the web site, but the site refuses to accept the question, even logged in via Facebook.

I have been using this since it first came out. I love the way you can pick only the news sources you want. Simply quick and go, I run it when I need to concentrate on graphics work, I don’t like music that much… more a talking head person. Good app, happy I have it.
A good idea with some bugs
After updating the app does not appear in the menu bar when I restart my computer. Also when playing multiple sources, it often skips to a new source before the last source is completed. I note this especially with “ABC Hourly News”. Hope they update soon to fix these bugs.
Great App for Near-Continuous News
Excellant app that allows me to access news with no frills and no hassle. I recommend purchasing the Add Custom Sources in-app purchase. I also had to contact Customer Support—assistance/reply was quick, helpful, and solution worked.
A Quick Dose of The News
Love it. Sometimes you just want a quick fix on the news. So far the better of 24/7 news apps. Keep up the good work. Hope more stations are added.
