    An Adventure

    If my experience is typical, this product is not enabled and ready to go the way most apps are on this website. It was many hours later before my copy was functional, and I have no idea how the functional version ended up on my computer since it mysteriously appeared after repeated efforts failed to get the downloaded copy working. That said, what I have now seems to work fine. I'm working with a 3-column format and there seem to be a few issues with it. It is a 12-page document, and it is an IMAGE copy of the pdf document. That last part is important because it means you have to enable OCR on the software. Doing that is fairly straightforward, but if you are trying and failing to get anything on a PDF conversion, the software doesn't hit you on the head and tell you it isn't converting anything because you haven't enabled OCR. Once OCR is enabled, everything takes place on the computer. It doesn't go through the printer. At this point, I think I'm pretty pleased with the product. But it's a lot to pay for something that isn't easily installed and enabled immediately. The problem appears to be that all of the coders connected with this are based in China and/or busy with other things. They get around to authenticating purchases on their schedule, not yours. But, like I said, it works now and I'm a happy camper.

    I bought it but it’s not registered

    I had hopes but purchased this from the app store and now it wants me to register it but I have received no confirmation or registration code. I tried to convert one item that failed. On my next attempt it would not open and insisted I register it. I received not registration information nor email so cannot use it despite having paid. It was well discounted on sale but for $35 I have nothing that works. I don’t know how to remedy the situation if possible. I cannot get satisfaction from the website because I purchased it here and have no confirming email nor sales receipt and no way to contact Apple sales that I can find. Still no remedy. I think this is Apple’s responsibility at this stage. I would like my $35 bac but I know Apple never does that.
