I just downloaded the app but it keeps crashing every time i try and open a specific collection.
Shame on The Met
Does the money grubbing ever stop? They’re finally allowed to INSIST on $25/pers (outside try-state area) which MUST have been a major cash bump for them - was that enough? NO! They prostitute the name of there institution to a 3rd party MORE money grab. The old app had the tour on it - THIS Cr-app - has ads and ads and MORE ads for private tours and hotels. I totaled this ‘Shame on The Met’ - but sadly, they seem to be shameless.

no content - not what i expected
this is not, afaik, a real met app. i regret connecting my facebook account to it, and giving it my email address. there doesn't appear to be any content - just a bunch of shutterstock images and links to tours and hotels. i got a bunch of app links from the artists network website for museums, and i don't know if this came from there or if i clicked on the wrong ad - but i definitely feel duped.
