Crashes on iMac and Macbook Pro
Fully loaded iMac and Macbook Pro - and it crashes on load on the Macbook Pro. On iMac, it runs for about 3 minutes, then as soon as I get above the clouds, it freezes. No other apps running. If there are, it freezes sooner. iPhone version rocks, but doesn't have the level of graphics the desktop version has. I would love this game if I could actually play it.
Promising BUT not there yet
I wanted to take a break from x-plane 11 so I thought I would try this. This sim has a lot of potential but I found it frustrating to set up my CH Eclipse yoke or CH Combatstick. The controller profiles simply do not work. There are random inputs from buttons that are not pressed. Support via email has been ineffective.. Although the menus and user interface are really good, a Mac specific user manual is needed as there are some differences not shown in the online manual/wiki. It is obvious that the wiki is for the Windows version. Performance on my 2017 iMac with an 8GB video card is good. I tried running it windowed on 3 screens but it locked up after a few minutes dispite having the graphics settings at minimum.

ive just downladed and paid for the game and it crashes every time i try to start a flight it crashes on me.
Great game but shadows are glitched
I love this sim so much and its very fun but the shadows are really glitched out and sometimes these shadows flood the cockpit making it hard to see. Also, you should add a way to stop and start the engines for the 777/ 747/ a320, and 737 Keep it up! this sim still has so much potential
BAD GAME
DO NOT buy it if you are using Macbook Air, it will be hard to move the airplanes you will need to buy a controler or something in order to enjoy it
Doesn't work on my iMac
My iMac meets the required specifications for running this app. Unfortunately, it doesn't run. Just freezes up. Also settings menu does have all the options shown on the Aerofly website. $36.99 flushed down the toilet as far as I'm concerned. It's too bad that iMac is incapable of runnung a relatively up to date flight simulator.
The future of Computer Flight Smulation is great on the Mac!
I have to hand it to Aerofly... They have been carefully crafting a solid platform for PC flight simulation. I have been using the Windows version on my 2015 MBP 15” w/ AMD using BootCamp, and I am seeing similar performance with the Mac version. There are a few things that are different: - Extra sceneries (NY, CO, UT) are not available (yet) - Fewer graphics configurability options - Not sure the Mac version is on the same refresh cycle as the Windows version. I would like to see more airports. Maybe create a package of the Class B airspace airports! Addendum - It has been 5 months, and the Mac community is still waiting on the ability to use the other addons and upgrades that the Windows version has enjoyed since I wrote this review. (Keep in mind that Mac users are charged an additional license fee, without receiving any additional access to updates and addons!) Another 11 months have passed and we are still waiting for the addons to come to the mac!
