A. Nox App または
B. Bluestacks App

eBird Mobile makes it easy to record the birds you see in the field, and seamlessly link these observations with eBird--a global online database of bird records used by hundreds of thousands of birders around the world. This free resource makes it easy to keep track of what you see, while making your data openly available for scientific research, education, and conservation. eBird Mobile is the only app that passes information directly from the iOS device to your eBird account on the web. Features - Enter bird observations from any location around the world. - Full global taxonomy based on The Clements Checklist of Birds of the World. - Common names available in local languages (e.g., Portuguese names in Brazil or in Portugal). - Checklists customized for your location and time of year, showing most likely species based on eBird data. - Rare species flagged during data entry and on the checklist. - "Record as you go" functionality for incremental list keeping and counting while birding. - GPS enabled location plotting to ensure accuracy. - Map tools that enable selecting from hundreds of thousands of eBird "Hotspots." - Full offline functionality, enabling use in places with limited or no Internet connection. - Trip and Day list functionality that makes it easy to keep track of your species list on a particular outing. - Support for iPhone, iPad, and iPod Touch. - Entire app translated to German, Mandarin, French, Spanish, Portuguese (Brazil), Turkish, and Dutch.

    EBird

I don’t see why people have such a problem with the app. I find it real useful for its purpose, to add birds to the eBird database. I’ve been using the app since it came out. It’s improved a lot. Doesn’t crash, or have problems that don’t allow you to submit sightings. People leaving bad reviews because location data is required don’t understand the point of the app. eBird is a scientific project that requires you to show your location so they can graph and track bird populations.

    does not respect users privacy

After using eBird extensively for 8-9 years daily I abandoned the platform. The review process was handled in a very unprofessional manner. eBird only cares about collecting data, not about the integrity of the data. So if an issue comes up they have no reason to make the user feel comfortable continuing to use their platform. I've been told by numerous reviewers that a certain species doesn't occur in a particular location. When I contest this they always refer to their species occurrence maps as the authoritative distribution of a given species. A quick review of the map shows that the distribution of most species is directly related to roads in the vicinity. If you get out of a car and bushwack as I do (I work as an avian biologist) you will pick up many species of birds you can't get from your vehicle or local park. I've been told a species doesn't occur in a location I have lost track. I purchased a camera to support my observations and established several county records. eBird had nothing to say about all the misinformation they peddled when they where proven wrong. Recently, the reviewers started sending up "friends" of theirs to question me at the hawk watch I counted at for three years. I drew the line at this and reached out to Cornell Lab about my concerns regarding my privacy. It took 20+ emails over 2 months to even get a response. When I got a response finally they just argued their position more and never even addressed my concerns. As such I had them set my account to "private use only" which hides my 13 years of data from their output and their "review" process. I've moved all my life lists over to iGoterra, song recordings to xeno canto and photos to Flickr. I can honestly say the eBird app is so clunky I only record lifers any more, then transfer the data to iGoterra. As someone who works in the field of avian biology and who used to proselytize about eBird to anyone and everyone I was let down eBird and Cornell Lab treat there users so poorly. Upside from the experience is there are plenty of options available for listing that do respect your privacy.

    New update still very frustrating

I have the same issues discussed by SAMMGRL. Sadly, the response that says you only have to wait 10 seconds for ebird to stop spinning, looking for a connection when you don’t have cell service is NOT correct. I often have to delete the whole thing from my phone & start over, with no location. Also, the way one used to be able to get around the lack of cell service no longer works. One can’t start from home & set a future time. Ebird no longer allows this. And, the other option, using no location, is quite frustrating to me, because, for some reason, my ebird “ default” is set to coastal NC, even though I’m in the mountains, & many of my birds come up as RARE. When I’d rather put my attention on watching the birds, instead, I’m having to focus attention on the messed up ebird app. I’ve also asked several times for help in changing the default, and have gotten NO answers.

    App doesn’t work

Trying to create a checklist doesn’t work. Once I choose a location to create a checklist for the app tries to download some list and fails, starting the process all over again. I’m on WiFi and the app says no internet connection with the server...

    Terrible User Interface

This app is unpleasant to use. Why not combine it with your bird identification app and include images instead of forcing users to create “lists” and add unnecessary data, such as “duration”? I’m trying to support Cornell Labs, but the dysfunctional nature of this app means that I will continue using EyeLoveBirds instead.
