i was able to get the app to connect after i went to settings on the receiver, app settings > ios > yes. it had been “no” previously. after that the app connects fine when on bt/ipod source.

This app is worthless, got the jvc with this app to use as remote because stereo is mounted high in my garage. Can get iPhone to connect Bluetooth to stereo but can’t get app to connect with stereo and have no control. Looks like it might work to play music from phone over stereo but nothing else.

I totally agree with the reviewer from a year ago. A year later and absolutely nothing has changed. Might as well take it off the apps list as it does nothing. I would give it zero stars except I am forced to give at least one.
Jvc r935bts remote app
Not sure what features it has cause it never connects it’s like it hates IOS. It would be great if it integrated properly cause then maybe it would allow for seemless integration it is sad my steering wheel has more control than my phone. I have Xmas-SiriusXM to allow for my to find traffic and music I like without hunting Lesson learned pay more you get way more this radio is alright for 30-50 more way better out there that works with Apple care drive and the manufacturers remote it got one star cause you can’t leave a zero star. Blue tooth does work with the phone but signals use the iPhone eq balance so it’s ok but not stellar

Like the other reviews I thought that this app did not work, IT DOES! people aren’t connecting to it correctly, hold down the menu button and find where you switch between iOS or android after that follow the rest of of the guide and pull up the app you should be in the iPod source and it should connect!
