Its 2021 Kenwood!! This app looks like a high school project that was never finished! I wont be buying another kenwood product ever! Customer support is non existent!

Useless
Followed the Kenwood video instructions precisely. Will not connect an iPhone 6S+ to BT 328U. If iPhone control of your head unit is important to you, don’t buy Kenwood.
Does not see receiver
The app doesn't see the receiver until I manually switch to iPod/app mode from the front panel. By the time I've walked to the front of the van to do that I might as well just do whatever I was going to use the remote for. Disappointing.
Please UPDATE!!!
The app is pointless if it does exactly what the music app does, but less effective and on an app that couldn’t be more outdated. It would be such a cool feature if they hired someone with modern application design to at least make it look more appealing. One reason I used my previous stereo’s app over my music apps was it also let me control the settings of the stereo within the app. I could fine tune each setting for the audio, layout, and look of the set. There is so much potential, and I really hope to see more time and effort put into this app so I can use it more if at all.
Remote app
This app is completely worthless and useless for the most part. I have a Pioneer receiver in my car and the ARC app it uses is superb. Kenwood should take a cue from Pioneer.
