This a is great for expanding one's vocabulary and learning good pronuciation after one has first learned simple greetings, very simple conversation, and has some experience practicing the four tones.

With high school out for the summer, I can fill the urge to further my Chinese studies with this app. Totally worth buying!
Like a book that comes to life
Phonetic ingenuity especially for those with good absorbent hearing; app's voice has stellar clarity. If this technology had been available 10 yrs ago, I'd be completely fluent at least in the content, but my accent would be even more genuine. This is a great end to that beginning. Like having a personal voice trainer. (To developers: I rated this months ago, but the app continues to ask for Rating 5 months later. Fix this!)
