Terribly disappointed
The got so frustrated with the incredible long narrative that I regretted the purchase almost immediately. 15 minutes into the game and I had barely done anything. The kids hated it. Don’t waste your money.
Cartoon Movie w/ some puzzling
I don’t get the high reviews for this game. For me, the ratio of extensive narrative vs actual puzzling is beyond frustrating and so boring. Don’t get me wrong - for a "narrative movie/story", I would give it higher marks because I think they did a good job of this. But for a game at $20, I want the environment of the game to be more engrained into the actual puzzling, not overtaking it. I can buy animated movies for much less and is not what I wanted out of a puzzle game. If you like Machinarium, The Room, etc, don’t buy this one. I think you would be very disappointed, as I am.
Very, very exciting story, painting and especially music.
The Night of the Rabbit brings level of the best quests of the 90s even higher with modern technologies and so much love.
good game, great story.
The Story was really well done. Unfortunetly the game was not so much, the steps to go from one event to the next were diffcult, had no real flow. Clues were hard not challegening which is what I look for in a game like this and some made no sense. What kept me going was the story, it was great, I will admit it was slow sometime. End the end I did enjoy the game.
Not sold on this one, yet...
Just began this game…hesitated because of the cost. I'm disappointed thus far. Very slow story, and hard to get my mouse to click right. If you click on something you already checked you have to click, click, click to get through the story line again before you move on. Hard to understand what to do next, but I will work at it a bit longer. Nice graphics but getting a bit bored & haven't hardly begun to get into the adventure. Maybe things will pick up once I get the hang of how to maneuver around. I'm familiar with adventure games, but this one has me wondering how to make things work faster.
A Classic!
For those that truly enjoy the point & click adventures (instead of the tedious HO games) this is a rare jewel of a game. The grapics are great but the game play is excellent also which makes a winning combination! I played it all the way through on a Mac Book Retina and had no problems at all with the gameplay. Highly recommended.
Slooooooow
Nice-looking game and some decent puzzles so far, but it's unbelievably slow to an extent that seriously degrades the experience. Where is there a second or two of lag time between every line of dialogue?
