HOLY COW, THIS IS BETTER THAN THE FIRST!!!!!! Everything is just 200% better!! There is just ONE problem, and that problem is why I didn’t give it FIVE AMAZING STARS: There is a glitch!! I’ve made it to the LAST part of Sadja’s story where she faces off with Kasim, but right after she frees the staff on the flying fortress, **the game FORCE QUITS!! I really don’t want to have to re-download this game and have to start all over, so if there’s A BETTER WAY to fix this, I WOULD LOVE TO KNOW PLEASE!!!! I will contact Memoria Support as well and hope they can help…

Where I have missed the epic adventure games from the 80s and 90s. This games endless supply of beautiful environments and not too challenging puzzles has quenched my thirst. The puzzles are challenging, but not enough not bogged down by totally unbelievable solutions like sewing a button on a banana peel to make slippers. The player is not required to rely on your reflexes like so many first person shooters today. The artwork is really very beautiful and overwhelming in scope when you consider the scope of the store and all the details included. In today’s gaming landscape most adventure games are part of the bargain priced genre. This release has been a welcome addition for me and deserves a look from any game player who prefers to rely on their brain rather than their reflexes. I particularly enjoy this pace of game as it allows me to remain calm and without the stress of most of today’s games inflict.

To be brief, I found this to be a lovely game — beautifully illustrated with puzzles that were challenging (much more so than other games to be found on the app store) and all tied together with a gripping story arc. This game, when combined with the first of the series (The Dark Eye: Chains of Satinav), represents one of the best adventure gaming experiences I’ve had on my Mac for a long time. I would strongly encourage people to play the Chains of Satinav first — although it is the weaker of the two games, it is the foundation for the story in this game. When combined you have a memorable gaming experience that will last a long time.

I came to this game with high expectations, and was not disappointed. I really loved The Dark Eye: Chains of Satinav, and really hoped that this game would make a good sequel. It turned out to be an excellent sequel. The graphics were beautiful, the puzzles challenging and engaging, the hints helpful, and the story mesmerizing. I was a little concerned when I first heard that this game would tell two stories, but found that they reinforced each other very well. The introduction is very abrupt, but I liked it. I can see how it might be a little disorienting to somebody who didn’t play The Dark Eye: Chains of Satinav, but I think that it is easy to catch on quickly. There was a lot of content in this game, providing many hours of fun. I can see myself replaying it – especially to try to get the rest of the achievements. If you like point and click games, puzzle games, and RPG games, I would recommend this highly.

I am only writing a review because I disagree with the single review posted, I generally dont want to spend my time. That said, I just finished the game, I really enjoyed it for about 2 weeks of game play, total about 10-20 hours or so? I feel thoroughly satisfied and entertained! I thought the graphics were very pretty, but not so big they they hogged up my system. I was able to keep up with emails etc on my other screen, which most games wont let me do on my macbook pro. The pace is as fast or slow as you like, you can easily walk away in any point of the game to tend to something else. The puzzles were challenging, and fun. I thought the story was interesting and different since you follow two story lines. I love RPG point and click games, I thought this was an excellent one!

This is an RPG game with interactive area's that can be clicked. It's just really starts off boring with no story line. You're walking in a forest and you come across a girl and you have to make her sticks stand up. WOW. What a way to start. Sorry, I love RPG and grew up with king quest but this just falls flat. Couldn't get past the dull intro.
